http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tulum Quoted from Wikipedia: Tulum ( (Tulu'um in Modern Maya) ; in Spanish orthography, Tulum) is the site of a Pre-Columbian Maya walled city serving as a major port for Cobá.[1] The ruins are located on 12-meter (39 ft) cliffs, along the east coast of the Yucatán Peninsula on the Caribbean Sea in the state of Quintana Roo, Mexico.[1] One of the best-preserved coastal Maya sites, Tulum is today a popular site for tourists.[1]
We paid 55 pesos each for the entry fee
This is one of many Iguanas we saw at the ruins
Ok so the last couple of pictures have nothing to do with the Mayan ruins. They are about food!!! John and I bought two chickens with all the fixins for 160 pesos. The chickens were huge and the there was plenty of rice, salsa, tortillas and hot peppers to go with them.
This is just one chicken with all the stuff. We ate chicken for a long time after this. No more chicken!!!!!!!!
