La Paz - Our last day downtown
It is going to be 75 deg here today, overcast and a little
humid. Very nice weather.
Today John and I decided to walk downtown to the Malecon from
our RV park. It was quite a walk. We found an excellent restaurant along the
water and had brunch. We also checked out the only English book store in town,
they did not have the book we wanted "The Pearl".
We then walked around the market for a bit and took a taxi back
to the park.
John sealed a few spots on the rig and I got the laundry done.
Time for siesta. Tomorrow is our last day in La Paz. We plan on walking to the
fruit/veggie stand and then relax for the rest of the day.
This is a picture we had to take of a small car hauling a very
large boat. Yeh, it will pull it!!!!

Brunch

This is the BBQ - notice it is the front end of an old truck?!

John had Mexican eggs with beans and I had a breakfast burrito
with chivos (Mexican mixed meat). The meal was excellent and the service was
superior. The owner spoke almost fluent English and helped us learn more
Spanish.
